Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

14 Calendar Day Money Back Guarantee

At Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), we want you, our customer, to be completely satisfied and thrilled with the piece of jewelry that you purchase from us.  If however, you are not, you can rest assured that our 14 calendar-day full money back guarantee (we have no stocking fees) gives you time to make sure your purchase is perfect. The 14 calendar-days start from the date that we shipped your precious piece of jewelry from our warehouse.  If you need to return it for any reason, we will be happy to provide you with an exchange or a full refund.  For your piece of jewelry to be eligible for a refund, it must be in pristine and in ‘new and unused’ condition (see Returns).Special orders and final sale items will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges, unless the products are damaged or do not function properly at the time of delivery.

All refunds, if eligible will be issued in the original form of payment except for money orders and wire transfers which will be refunded via company check. If the returned merchandise involves layaway, the 25% deposit is not refundable. The returned merchandise must be accompanied by proof of purchase and all original documentation and packaging; otherwise, the return will not be honored (see Returns).

Returning Jewelry

Jewelry items that are past the 14 calendar-day purchase date are not refundable or exchangeable. The 14 calendar days start from the date that we shipped your precious piece of jewelry from our warehouse. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in pristine condition, which means that the item has not been worn. This mean that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes; the security/price tags are still attached and not tempered with; item has not been engraved and the item must not have been sized or altered in any way.  We cannot accept a return of any item with any indication that it has been worn.  It must also be in the original packaging contain the diamond certificate form if applicable and the original proof of purchase.  Items that are not in its original condition are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are also not returnable, refundable, nor exchangeable.  Any additional items included with your purchase such as gift with purchase offers, must also be returned as sent.  If any of the original materials are missing, you will be liable for a $250 replacement cost. Furthermore, special orders such as custom-made jewelry, final sale orders, and gift cards are not refundable or exchangeable.  Only items that have been engraved or sized by Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC) will be accepted and 15% of the refund fee will be deducted.

To complete your return, in addition to requiring the above information, a Return Merchandise Inspection (RMA) number is needed. The RMA number can be obtained from a customer service representative by emailing us at returns@Avitalandco.com or by phone at 212-764-6851. We will not accept any returned merchandise without the RMA number.

Once you have obtained the necessary materials needed for your return, you can either stop by our store by appointment only or mail your product to Avital & Co., 30 West 47th Street Suite 304, New York NY 10036, USA.  If you ship your item, you are responsible for the cost of insuring and shipping your item to our store and for the cost of insuring and shipping it back to you.  For instructions on how to return your piece of jewelry, see Return Instructions.

Returning a Watch

Our goal at Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), is to please our clientele. If for some reason you are unhappy with the purchase of your watch, we strongly recommend that you do not wear it.  Items that are past the 14 calendar-day purchase date are not refundable or exchangeable.  The 14 calendar days start from the date that we shipped your precious piece of jewelry from our warehouse.  All watches that are returned must be in pristine condition, which means that the item has not been worn. Watches that are not in its original condition are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are also not returnable, refundable, nor exchangeable. Furthermore, watches that are purchased as a final sale item cannot be returned or exchanged.  Only watches that have been sized by Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC) will be accepted and 15% of the refund fee will be deducted.

Shipping your Return

Before returning your piece of jewelry to us, please call customer service at 212-764-6851 to receive your Return Merchandise Inventory Number (RMA) or email us at returns@Avitalandco.com.  All items are to be shipped via traceable carrier and for your protection, insured for the full purchase price of the products, including any shipping and handling charges or dropped off at our store with an appointment during our business hours only.  We are located at Avital & Co., 30 West 47th Street Ste. 304, New York NY 10036, USA.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping/insuring costs for shipping and returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping and insurance will be deducted from your refund.  In order to protect the package against possible theft, please do not write the words 'jewelry', 'diamonds', or any other terms related to the package being sent (unless required by customs and insurance, etc. where necessary).  Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), will not be responsible for any loss or any damage of return shipments.

Return Instructions

·        All jewelry items must be repacked in its original box with original packaging materials and original proof of purchase.  For diamond jewelry, you must include the copy of the diamond certificate. For watches, you must include manuals, blank warranty cards, and instruction booklets.Any additional items included with your purchase such as gift with purchase offers, must also be returned as sent or you can be liable for a $250 replacement cost that will be deducted from the refund amount. ·        The RMA number must be written on the original invoice and on the return shipping label.  Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), will not accept any merchandise without an RMA number.

·        Insure Your Package. Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), will not accept any merchandise without that has not been insured.  On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:

·        $500 or less: within the U.S., you can ship your package via any carrier.  We recommend Fed Ex.  Whomever you use, make sure you return it with return receipt requested.

·        Between $500 and $25,000: Avital & Co. recommends that you use US Postal Service.  Insure the package for the total value of the contents and request a return receipt at a nominal fee that alerts you once Avital & Co. has received your shipment.

·        More than $25,000: High value returns often require special arrangements.  We recommend contacting Avital & Co., for assistance and suggested methods for returning your purchase.

Terms of Refunds and Return Time (if applicable)

In addition to receiving notice that you package has arrived via the carrier you chose, Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), Quality Assurance department will send you an email notifying you that they are reviewing and inspecting your piece of jewelry. To be eligible for a full refund, all jewelry received must be in pristine condition and never have been worn (see Returns).

Once your return has been processed by our Quality Assurance department, an email will be sent to you within 1-3 weeks notifying you whether or not a refund was issued.  If approved, you will receive a full refund in the original form of payment except for money orders and wire transfers, which will be refunded via company check.  All shipping, handling, and insurance costs are not refunded and will be deducted from the refund. Order shipments returned to us by courier as undeliverable will be refunded minus $15 per shipment.

Non-Returnable/Exchangeable Items

No engraved jewelry will be returned. Special orders such as custom made bracelets, custom made necklaces, custom made pendants, custom made rings, custom made earrings, custom made watches and other custom made items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchanges. In addition, all items that were marked as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.  Returns without an Avital & Co. RMA, returns sent C.O.D., and improperly or uninsured packages will be refused upon receipt. Returns with missing paperwork or product (see Return Instructions) are subject to a $250 fee and may not be processed. Exchanges on items originally not eligible for a refund are non-returnable.  Gift cards are also not refundable or exchangeable.Items that show signs of wear or have been resized by a jeweler other than Avital & Co., do not have security/price tags on them, engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return or an exchange.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 1-3 weeks, first check your bank account.  It takes time for your bank to process your return.  If you still have not received your refund after this time, contact your credit card company, and inquire with them if the refund has been processed.  If you still have not received your refund, please contact us at returns@Avitalandco.com or call us at 212-764-6851.

Final Sale Items

Final sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), will gladly exchange your piece of jewelry for you. In order to be eligible for an exchange, the item must be must be in pristine condition, which means that the item has not been worn. This mean that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes; the security/price tags are still attached and not tempered with; item has not been engraved and the item must not have been sized or altered in any way. We cannot accept and exchange of any item with any indication that it has been worn. It must also be in the original packaging, contain the diamond certificate form if applicable and the original proof of purchase.  We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange the piece of jewelry for the same item, send us an email at returns@Avitalandco.com and send your item to Avital & Co., 30 West 47th Street Suite 304, New York NY 10036, USA or feel free to make an appointment.

Shipping an Exchange Item Back to You

Once an order is received for an exchange, Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), will send you an email confirmation.  At this time, one of our employees will process your order and get it ready to have our Quality Assurance department review, inspect, and prepare your item for shipping.  If the item you are exchanging is not in stock, it will take us two to four weeks to manufacture it for you. However, if an item is not in our inventory, be assured that you will be contacted and given several options including ordering a similar item.

If the package or item that is delivered to you arrives damaged, please refuse the shipment and call us immediately at 212-764-6851.  All packing materials must be retained unless instructed otherwise by Avital & Co.  Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately or within 5 days of receipt of your order.  Avital & Co. are not responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.

Returning Gifts

If for some reason you are not pleased with a gift that was purchased for you from Avital & Co., located in the heart of the world famous Diamond District in New York City (NYC), we will gladly exchange the item for you for equal or greater value.  Please return the item following the instructions above and a gift card will be issued.  Once our Quality Assurance Department receives the returned gift, a certificate will be mailed to you in the full value of the item that was returned.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he/she will inform you about your return.
